St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church has served the Westchester/Fairfield Counties area for over 100 years.

As part of its outreach to its community, our Church decided to develop a full day child care center over 1999 - 2000. Research had shown that there were many working parents who greatly needed this type of facility within the community — not only as a caring place for their children, but as a Center with programs enhancing childrens' learning experiences as well.

St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church has established this program on its own, working closely with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services. What has evolved is a fully licensed facility on the ground floor of the Church that not only meets the rigorous standards of this Department, but in many instances exceeds its requirements. Ours is intended to be a smaller private facility which allows closer personal attention for all our children. At St. Paul's we believe we have developed a very caring and compassionate Center, and have a very experienced Director along with other Staff fulfilling our own requirements for a superior community offering.

We are open to conduct tours, as we have spots available in most classrooms. Please call with any questions not answered on our website. We would love to hear from you.

The goals of the Center’s Mission are:

    1. to provide a loving and caring environment for children.
    2. to provide a place where each child is regarded as a child of God.
    3. to foster mutual respect for self and others.
    4. to offer an early childhood education that is stimulating and age appropriate.
    5. to provide a learning atmosphere based upon current, up-to-date knowledge of early childhood development and learning.
    6. to provide a consistent and stable environment which fosters a sense of security in young children.
